This story have been years in the making for me. I made it when I was younger, back in my home country of Trinidad along with my other creations like Ant Hill, The Ananci, The El-Akin and Seven. The El-Akin and Seven I would also like to bring out some time in the near future, so I’ll just keep my fingers cross until then. The inspiration from this book came to me going to church with my brother Nicholas he had borrowed a book from the church library called This present darkness and it was about Angel and Demon spiritual warfare he would often share stories from the book, which peaked my interest every time. Then months after Nicholas would always say how he saw Angels on the roof top of the church and they stood there to protect us from demons. I never saw them and thought he was exaggerating but I would always wonder to my self, If I were able to see these Angels my brother spoke about how would they look like? Then sometime in my late teens I decided to draw a comic book about the everyday lives of Angels and the the Guardians was born.
