Ananci Issue 1

Enter the mind of young Keith Evers. A native from the island of Trinidad who has another world in his head, which often times blends with his reality. In this other world, Keith is a character he read about as a child called Ananci an African folk-lore, spider-god that outwits the anthropomorphic creatures of the Forrest. Because he has the difficulty separating the two worlds, he was evaluated as being mentally unstable and awarded professional help by the government, but Keith is caught between the dilemma of whether or not to trust the help especially when Ananci’s world feels so real. So he is forced to seek help through the advice of a mysterious hooded creature that only appears to him when he doesn’t take his medication. Will Keith accept the help he was given for his undetermined mental state or will he get the answers he’s looking from the mysterious hooded creature? Finds out in the pages of Ananci.
